Once funded, the account follows a scaling plan up to 2 contracts.
You start with 1 contract, and the second unlocks once the account has built $999 in profit above your $25,000 starting balance.

The unlock is permanent. Once the account has reached $999 of profit, the second contract stays available for the life of the account. It is never taken back.
The limit counts contracts held at the same time across all instruments, not trades taken in a day. Exceeding it is a rule breach, so size down before adding to a position that is already at the limit.
