Yes, in the evaluation only, and the threshold is the one you selected at
checkout: 40% or 50%.
When you hit your profit target, no single trading day may account for
more than that share of the profit used to pass. If one day is over the
line, nothing bad happens to your account: your target simply increases
and you keep trading until your biggest day fits within the limit. You are
never breached or reset for consistency.
On the 40% setting, passing at the $1,250 target means your best day must be $500 or less. On the 50% setting, the same target allows a best day of up to $625.
If your best day is larger than that, you are not blocked. Say you are on 40% and your biggest day is $700: the profit you need in order to pass becomes $1,750, because $700 is 40% of $1,750. Keep trading, grow the total, and the day falls back inside the limit on its own.
Once you are funded, there is no consistency rule at all, on either setting.
