Prime drawdown and Daily Loss Limit

The End of Day Max Loss Limit and the soft-breach Daily Loss Limit.

End of Day Max Loss Limit

The most your account can ever lose: $1,000 (25K), $2,000 (50K), $3,000 (100K) or $4,500 (150K). It is checked on your end-of-day balance. On a 50K Prime it starts at $48,000.

If an end-of-day balance closes at or below the limit, it is a hard breach: the account is closed permanently.

Daily Loss Limit

The most you can lose in one trading day, measured from your last end-of-day balance.

Size

Daily Loss Limit

25K

$600

50K

$1,200

100K

$1,800

150K

$2,700

Example, 50K Prime: yesterday closed at $51,000, so today's limit level is $49,800.

Hitting it is a soft breach: the account isn't closed, it's locked for the next 24 hours and then you can trade again.

Contracts

No scaling plan: your full allowance applies from day one in both stages. One mini equals ten micros, and you can mix them as long as the total never exceeds your mini limit. On a 50K, 2 minis + 20 micros = 4 minis.
