Elite drawdown, daily loss limit and contracts

How the Max Loss Limit trails and locks, and how contract scaling works.

End of Day trailing drawdown example

End of Day trailing drawdown

  • The Max Loss Limit is based on your closed balance at the end of each trading day.

  • A profitable day can move it up. A losing day leaves it where it is. Intraday swings and open profit never move it.

  • 25K: once the account has made $1,000 of profit, the floor locks at $25,000 and stops trailing.

  • 50K, 100K, 150K: the floor locks at $100 above the starting balance.

  • Close a day at or below the Max Loss Limit and the account is breached. A breach is final: reset the account or start a new challenge.

Daily loss limit

  • You choose at checkout, on every size: no daily loss limit (the default), or a soft-lock daily loss limit of $600 (25K), $1,200 (50K), $1,800 (100K) or $2,700 (150K). Choosing it lowers the price.

  • If you choose it, it applies in the evaluation and once funded, measured from your last end-of-day balance.

  • A soft lock is not a breach. Trading stops for the rest of the day and resumes at the next trading day.

Contracts

In the evaluation you have the full allowance from day one: 2, 4, 8 or 12 contracts. Once funded, contracts scale with profit:

Size

Contracts by profit on the account

25K

1 below $1,000 · 2 from $1,000

50K

2 below $2,500 · 3 from $2,500 · 4 from $3,499

100K

2 below $2,000 · 4 from $2,000 · 6 from $3,499 · 8 from $4,499

150K

3 below $2,500 · 6 from $2,500 · 9 from $4,499 · 12 from $5,499

The limit counts contracts held at the same time across all instruments. Going over it is a rule breach.
