What happens if I hit my Daily Loss Limit (DDL)?

Hitting your DDL is a soft breach, not a hard breach. Your account is not closed.

Instead, your account is blocked for the rest of the day. You will be able to trade again on the next trading day, when your DDL resets based on your new End of Day balance.

In short:

  • DDL hit = account paused until the next trading day (soft breach)

  • EOD MLL hit = account permanently closed (hard breach)
