Does the 25K Elite Challenge have a daily loss limit?

That depends on how you configured the account when you bought it. The 25K Elite is the only Elite size that offers one, and it is optional.

  • If you chose no daily loss limit, the account behaves like every other Elite size. There is no daily loss rule in the evaluation or once funded. Your only loss rule is the $1,000 Max Loss Limit

  • If you chose the $600 daily loss limit, trading is locked for the rest of the day once the account is down $600 on that day, measured against your balance at the start of the trading day. The lock releases automatically at the start of the next trading day and the account carries on as normal.

It is never a breach

This is the important part. Hitting the daily loss limit does not fail your challenge, does not close your funded account, and leaves no mark on your record. It is a soft lock and nothing more.

The limit exists to protect the account. With a Max Loss Limit of $1,000, an account without a daily loss limit can be lost in a single bad session. The $600 lock stops the day at $600, which keeps $400 of drawdown intact and leaves you an account to trade tomorrow. A bad day costs you the rest of the afternoon rather than the challenge.

What happens when the lock triggers?

  • Trading is disabled for the remainder of the trading day.

  • The lock lifts at the start of the next trading day, with no request and no support ticket needed.

  • The day still counts as a trading day, though a losing day never counts toward the profitable days you need for a payout.

  • The Max Loss Limit continues to work exactly as it always does. The daily lock sits on top of it and does not change it.

Your dashboard shows which of the two configurations you are trading under.
