What is the End of Day Maximum Loss Limit (EOD MLL)?
The EOD MLL is the most your account is ever allowed to lose. It is checked using your End of Day balance.
Account size | EOD MLL |
50K Prime | $2,000 |
100K Prime | $3,000 |
150K Prime | $4,500 |
Example on the 50K Prime: your MLL starts at $48,000. If your End of Day balance ever closes at or below your MLL level, the account is breached.
Breaching the EOD MLL is a hard breach. The account is permanently closed and cannot be recovered.
The MLL lock at the initial challenge balance + 100 USD in funded when the buffer is reached.
What is the Daily Loss Limit (DDL)?
The DDL is the most you are allowed to lose in a single trading day.
Account size | Daily Loss Limit |
50K Prime | $1,200 |
100K Prime | $1,800 |
150K Prime | $2,700 |
Your DDL is calculated from your last End of Day balance. Every day, your daily limit resets based on the balance your account closed with the previous trading day.
Example on the 50K Prime: if your account closed yesterday at $51,000, your DDL level for today is $49,800 ($51,000 minus $1,200). If your balance touches $49,800 today, your DDL is hit.
What happens if I hit my Daily Loss Limit (DDL)?
Hitting your DDL is a soft breach, not a hard breach. Your account is not closed.
Instead, your account is blocked for the rest of the day. You will be able to trade again on the next trading day, when your DDL resets based on your new End of Day balance.
In short:
DDL hit = account paused until the next trading day (soft breach)
EOD MLL hit = account permanently closed (hard breach)
