FuturesElite is built around the idea that traders should be evaluated on their own decision-making, not on the speed of an algorithm or the capacity of a server. High Frequency Trading (HFT) is incompatible with that principle and is strictly prohibited under our Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices policy.
High Frequency Trading refers to automated trading strategies that submit and execute a large number of orders within extremely short intervals, often within seconds or milliseconds. These strategies are typically driven by algorithms designed to capture small, short-lived pricing inefficiencies at machine speed, rather than reflecting genuine discretionary decision-making by the trader.
Why This Rule Exists
High Frequency Trading can generate hundreds or even thousands of orders within very short periods, placing significant strain on platform infrastructure. Permitting this type of activity would:
Degrade Platform Performance: Excessive order flow slows down execution and data delivery for all users.
Create Data Instability: Unusual order volumes can disrupt pricing feeds and the integrity of the trading environment.
Harm the Trader Experience: Other traders may experience delays, slippage, or instability caused by HFT-driven load.
By prohibiting HFT, we preserve a reliable trading environment and ensure that every trader is evaluated on genuine skill rather than algorithmic speed.
What Happens If You Use HFT
FuturesElite uses automated risk detection systems to monitor for High Frequency Trading activity across all accounts. In line with our Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices policy, the following actions may be taken when HFT is identified:
Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate any account engaged in High Frequency Trading, immediately and without warning.
Profit Confiscation: Any profits generated through HFT activity will be voided.
Evaluation Review: Passed evaluations linked to HFT activity will be reviewed, and traders may not progress to the next phase.
Permanent Restriction: Traders found engaging in repeated or severe HFT activity may be permanently restricted from using FuturesElite services.
